PV and Storage Are Converging
According to SEIA1, U.S. battery energy storage (BESS) deployments are set to reach roughly 70 GWh in 2026, up nearly 30 percent year over year. Almost half of newly installed utility-scale storage capacity is now paired directly with solar generation. Hybrid PV-plus-storage projects are becoming the norm rather than the exception.
